OUR STORY
In 2019, after several years of doing interior design, Katie got a call from a realtor asking if she could stage a vacant listing for them. As a favor, she said yes. Little did she know this would be the beginning of 12th State Design Co. Since then, Katie has staged hundreds of Triangle homes, growing 12th State into the Triangle’s premier boutique home staging brand. Most days it’s hard for her to believe how quickly it’s grown. She often thinks about the early days of borrowing furniture from her home, packing her Toyota Sienna to the brim, zipping all over the Triangle and saying yes to every project. You can catch Katie at a morning work out class, out having a drink with a friend or let’s be real…at the soccer fields watching her two boys with her husband (who is trying very hard not to be “that dad” on game day).
